What are METU’s SAT requirements?
With campuses in Ankara and Northern Cyprus, this university accepts applications through SAT, ACT, International AL and ASL exams, International Science Olympiads, and AP.
METU SAT Scores by Faculty:
Ankara campus – A minimum score of 1200 out of 1600 in the SAT exam. For Engineering, Architecture, Arts and Sciences faculties, at least 680 in the “Math” section or at least 700 in three relevant SAT Subject Tests (one must be Math 2).
Northern Cyprus campus – A minimum of 1000 in the SAT exam. For Engineering, Economics, and Business faculties, at least 600 in Math or an average of at least 600 in three relevant SAT Subject Tests.
How to apply to METU?
Applications to the university’s undergraduate level from abroad are carried out through an online application. There is no need to send any printed documents for the application.
All steps from A to Z:
- First, if you don’t have one, you should create an email address. This email will be used for registration, and your password will be sent to this address. You will use this password every time you log into the system, so make sure to keep it.
- To send your SAT score, you must use the university’s code number 6383. Make sure that your SAT score meets METU’s SAT requirements; otherwise, your application will not be considered.
- Additionally, make sure the information you enter during registration is correct and that your documents are complete. If your documents are incomplete, your registration will be cancelled.
- After completing your registration, do not forget to finalize and submit (freeze) your application.
