So, what are the SAT admission requirements of Koç University, located in Istanbul, Turkey?
First of all, I would like to point out that we strongly recommend applying as early as possible once all your documents, such as SAT test scores, are ready. Koç University does not require English proficiency tests such as TOEFL or IELTS for admission. Nevertheless, you must submit one of the international university entrance exams (SAT, ACT) or international diplomas (IB, GCSE, French Baccalaureate, ABITUR) along with your application.

Exam results older than 2 years will not be accepted at the time of application.
Other documents to be submitted to Koç University in addition to the SAT score:
- High school diploma (Attestat)
If available, you must translate and notarize the original copy of your high school diploma into Turkish or English and submit it to Koç University.
- Transcript covering your last 3 years in school
Among Koç University’s requirements is a copy of your official high school transcript or your Final Grade Point Average (GPA). You can request this document from the administration of the high school you graduated from.
- Motivation Letter
The motivation letter should include your unique experiences and interests. You must explain the extracurricular activities related to the major you chose, your specific enthusiasm for this field, and your reasons and goals for choosing Koç University.
- Application Fee (Non-refundable)
Koç University charges an application fee of 250 Turkish Lira (TL) for international undergraduate programs for the Fall 2022 intake. If you are making the payment with a non-Turkish bank card, make sure the card is open for international transactions. If you do not pay the application fee, your documents will not be evaluated.

If you meet the minimum criteria, i.e., you have all the required elements, you will be asked to complete a recorded video interview as part of the scholarship evaluation process. You must complete this interview before the deadline indicated in the message received via the online application system. After completing your interview in the application system, you will receive the admission and scholarship result within 2 weeks.
